1. Subscription Cancellation

  • Monthly/Annual Subscriptions/Pay per view:
    Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation will prevent future renewals but will not provide a refund for the remaining subscription period.

  • Trial Periods:
    If a user cancels during a free trial period, no charges will be applied. If the cancellation occurs after the trial ends, the subscription fee for the first billing cycle will not be refunded.


2. Content Purchase Cancellation

  • Once content (e.g., movies or shows) is purchased or rented, cancellations are not permitted. We encourage users to review their selection carefully before confirming the purchase.


3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • - Technical issues that prevent access to purchased content or services, and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
  • - Unauthorized or duplicate transactions caused by system errors.
  • - Subscription renewals charged after a user has canceled their subscription.


4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • - If the user changes their mind about the subscription or purchase.
  • - If the user experiences internet connectivity issues not caused by RootsTV.
  • - If the user fails to cancel their subscription before the renewal date.
  • - If the user violates our Terms of Service, resulting in account suspension or termination.


5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, users must:

  3. Refund requests will be reviewed and responded to within 3-5 business days.


6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
  • RootsTV reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.
